Hidden in America

I discovered this interesting little series while surfing down the rabbit hole on YouTube.  These are a few of my favorite episodes.  The first episode, in particular, is pretty interesting.  It draws the obvious but subtle correlation between America’s history of religious freedom and it’s simultaneous history of cultivation of religious mania and doomsday cults.  It demonstrates how easily people can come to accept preposterous things based on “religious conviction”.  The line separating a Christian, a Muslim, or a member of a doomsday cult, is not easily defined.
